Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you!

A huge thank you to the parents and carers of our students in years Prep to 2 who have made the transition back to school for these children so easy. Thank you for getting the children to and from school at the right times and for respecting the physical distancing measures that are in place.

Our 3-6 students return next week and this means that there will be an extra 140 students coming through our gates. To maintain physical distancing during our staggered start, it is very important that you keep to your allocated arrival and collection times. These are on the next page.

Please try not to arrive too early at the end of the day as this may mean larger numbers in the playground than expected.

We all need to work together to make sure that everyone is safe at this time. If there are a large number of adults in the school ground at the end of the day then we will need to ask you to collect children from a designated spot in one of our local streets.

There is no access to the school grounds before 8:50 a.m.

Children are rostered to arrive from 8:50 a.m. alphabetically by surname. They can arrive through any gate but will go straight to the classroom.
o 8:50 to 9:00 = surnames A to D
o 9:00 to 9:10 = surnames E to L
o 9:10 to 9:20 = surnames M to R
o 9:20 to 9:30 = surnames S to Z

Parents are not permitted on site and must leave children at the gate. Staff will be at gates and in the playground to support students.

At the end of the day, students will leave in the same order
o 2:35 to 2:45 = surnames A to D
o 2:45 to 2:55 = surnames E to L
o 2:55 to 3:05 = surnames M to R
o 3:05 to 3:15 = surnames S to Z

Parents are only permitted on site to collect children and must not arrive earlier than the specified collection time. Social distancing rules will apply and parents/carers must wait on the running track or basketball court for children. Families must then leave the school grounds immediately.

SENIOR STUDENTS WHO TRAVEL TO SCHOOL UNSUPERVISED:
Students who ride bikes or walk to school without parent supervision are expected to be at school at 9 a.m. and will leave at 3:15 p.m. regardless of surname.

SENIOR STUDENTS WHO WALK HOME WITH YOUNGER SIBLINGS:
If your child has permission to walk home with their younger siblings without an adult, these children will be at school from 9 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. regardless of surname.
