Albion North Primary School was established in 1962 and is located in a residential area of Sunshine North within the Brimbank Council local government area. In recent years, there has been significant renewal of the school buildings and grounds providing the school community with bright, modern teaching and learning spaces. All members of the school community are encouraged to be actively involved in the home-school learning partnership to enable children to reach their potential at school.
The school’s values – Integrity, Fairness, Caring, Respect, Inclusion and Teamwork underpin all programs at the school. Our main focus is to continue to improve student learning outcomes particularly in English and Mathematics. This is done through the application of current research based teaching and learning practices and is supported through professional learning for staff. The school is addressing non-attendance and lateness through the implementation of DET initiatives in the school.
We have specialist classes in Art, LOTE (Italian),STEM and Phys. Ed. We also offer a range of other programs at different year levels including robotics, gardening, sport and buddies.
The school’s current enrolment is 230.
