Section 4.5 Student Code of Conduct

The code of conduct for students at Albion North Primary School has been formulated within and is consistent with DE&T guidelines and regulations.  It is viewed as an integral part of our Welfare and Discipline Policy, which considers the rights and responsibilities of the whole school community.  Our Welfare and Discipline Policy has a proactive rather than a reactive focus. the exercising of self-discipline.

Albion North Primary School believes that the responsibility for each student’s physical, social and emotional needs is a shared responsibility between the school and the parents.  Students, parents and teachers all have important rights and responsibilities.

Our published Welfare and Discipline Policy is underpinned with the following student rights:

To have personal property respected.
To contribute to the formulation of classroom and school rules.
To be free from any form of harassment or bullying (ie zero tolerance).

School Rules
